The event took place around 2:30 p.m., when Bridgeport police received a 911 call from Bryant Elementary School, at 230 Poplar St., saying there a female threatening a male at the school and that she had a gun, the Post said.
Police and School Resource officers immediately put the school on lockdown and began looking for the girl, the paper said.
In just a few minutes, officers had located the girl and place her in custody and the lockdown was lifted by 2:39 p.m., the Post reported.
Police Chief Armando Perez told the Post the girl had a pellet gun. There was no immediate word on any charges. She was released to a guardian, the paper said.
